Dundee leapfrogged Motherwell as victory in Neil McCann's first game as manager left the home side in the relegation play-off spot. Motherwell dominated the first half, but Mark O'Hara put Dundee ahead with their first chance in the final minute. Marcus Haber swept home the visitors' second before Louis Molt's instant reply, but Haber claimed Dundee's third after O'Hara met Craig Wighton's cross. Chris Cadden gave Well hope with 10 minutes left, but Dundee held on.
